Reading Response




Michelle Goodman stated some extra good facts about how to do good stuff with video games. Jodi Ropert, worked for Microsoft, and her husband Jacquee established Barefoot Explorer, a company which makes games and applications for Apple's well-known iPhone. In 2009, after spending 10 years with Microsoft, they launched Barefoot Explorer. Their first game Play2Plant aim to teach kids how to take care of earth, and the environment. They promised to plant three trees each time a customer download Plat2Plant. 20,000 trees were planted in the first month. 


Several facts come along with the article, FarmVille the popular game, raised $1.5 million for earthquack relief in Haiti.
